Types of Visitor Visas

Electronic Travel Authority (ETA, Subclass 601):

Multiple entries within 12 months, each stay up to 3 months.
Ideal for holidays, family visits, or business activities.
Apply via the Australian ETA app with a passport from eligible countries.

eVisitor Visa (Subclass 651):

Allows multiple visits within 12 months, up to 3 months each.
Suitable for holidays, family visits, short study, or business trips.
Must be applied for outside Australia by eligible passport holders.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet:

Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE): Clear evidence of intent to leave after the visit.
Health & Character Standards: Medical exams or police clearances may be required.
Financial Capacity: Proof of sufficient funds or a financial guarantor.

Application Process

Online Application: Submit via the Department of Home Affairs portal.
Documentation: Passport, financial proof, invitation letter (if applicable).
Biometrics & Health Checks: Required for some applicants.
Visa Grant: Approved visas are issued electronically. Review conditions carefully.

Visa Conditions
